The first Citrix on Azure implementation of a Digital Transformation project in Greece
Office Line, a leading company specializing in the provision of integrated IT infrastructure solutions and the implementation of demanding IT projects, has successfully undertaken and implemented the Azure migration project for Intertranslations, the main contractor of translation works of the European Parliament and the European Commission in more than 130 language combinations. This is the first complete digital transformation project in Greece, based on Citrix on Azure technologies. The certified Office Line expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Citrix environments has been the key to the successful first implementation.
In particular, the implementation satisfied the need for Intertranslations to meet its increased requirements for collaboration, security, communication flexibility, and optimization of the company’s productivity, at the same time reducing the long time for support management, committing funds for the renewal of the existing equipment and flexibility to modify the company’s computing power, tailored to the work load of its customers.
Office Line recommended that the entire IT infrastructure be implemented on Azure, ensuring all the advantages of the cloud over the “on premise” infrastructure. With the completion of the project in August 2018, Intertranslations now has a single platform for its partners to communicate and collaborate, which has added increased security and greater levels of flexibility in their daily lives, resulting in an increase in the company’s own productivity.
